Skip menuAbout the Wiki
Working with my course advisor, Dr. Gary Geisler, we determined a
wiki would be the best conduit for expressing my progress in the One
Butterfly project. Communicating with a wiki is both practical and
forward thinking.
Wikipedia defines a wiki as "a page or collection of Web pages designed to enable anyone (excluding blocked or banned users) who accesses it to contribute or modify content, using a simplified markup language." Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. The collaborative encyclopedia Wikipedia is one of the best-known wikis... Ward Cunningham, developer of the first wiki software, WikiWikiWeb, originally described it as "the simplest online database that could possibly work"." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki
A wiki allows me to quickly communite my process as my ideas delevlop. This wiki will be growing and changing so check back for updates periodically. This wiki was designed to display my workproducts, and communicate with the larger community. For now the wiki will only be edited by me (Eryn), and only released to a small group of readers.
